Rainbow Cupcakes

1. Make a vanilla cake mix
2. Divide the batter into different bowls
3. Add food dye or color to every bowl (you can use from 3 to 6 colors)
4. Arrange a cupcake holder with cupcake liners
5. Add 1 teaspoon of color into each liner
6. The cupcake liner should be 1/2 full to 2/3 full
7. Bake according to box instructions or to your own special recipe
8. Place cupcakes on a rack to cool
9. Frost your cupcakes and enjoy

Owl Cupcakes
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Line cupcake pans with liners
3. In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt
4. In a large mixing bowl, mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
5. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing until completely blended. Then add vanilla.
6. Add 1/2 of flour mixture then milk before adding rest of flour
7. Divide batter evenly among liners, filling each about three-quarters full.
8. Bake about 20 minutes, rotating pan once if needed.
9. Transfer to a wire rack.
10. Let cool for 5 minutes.
11. Remove cupcakes from pan, and let cool completely on wire rack.
12. Frost the cupcakes with your favorite homemade recipe.
13. Make craft owls out of foam paper
14. Glue them to a toothpick
15. Stick in cupcakes once cool
